Welcome to Kira’s Chicago Apartment
Meet Kira! Kira is a content creator and jewelry designer based in Chicago. When Kira and her fiancé decided to move from Brooklyn to their first apartment together in Chicago, Kira came to me looking for help decorating their living room. Her main ask, “how do we combine both my style and his?” – something I hear from many of my clients cohabitating for the first time.
Kira’s apartment features massive floor-to-ceiling windows offering lots of light, so we decided on a deeper color palette with navy blues, rich caramel tones, and walnut wood. To avoid blocking her beautiful view of Chicago, we opted for a glass and acrylic dining table and desk for a seamless look.
Kira has a German Shepherd dog named Joey and we wanted to select a sofa that was both beautiful and durable. We decided on this gorgeous, camel leather sectional that immediately catches your eye when you enter Kira’s living space.
