You can’t go wrong with the classics- classic red lip, classic white tee, classic blue jeans, and classic cars.

Well, I’m not going to pretend I know anything about cars, but when my mom and I stumbled across this old, classic car restoration lot, it could not have fit the 1950’s Americana vibe of this outfit any better! If you live in the New York/New Jersey area you know how ugly it can be over the winter months (especially while the snow is melting) so finding this gem was a very fun surprise.

I am extremely picky when it comes to jeans. I like thick textured jeans that are heavy and rich to the touch, fit well and… well, the list goes on. I am not exaggerating when I tell you I returned over a dozen pairs before finally finding these classic blue, stepped hem, mom jeans from Asos.

Pro Tip: If you order mom jeans online, order a size down. The style is meant to be a bit oversized, but to avoid bagginess in the butt and inseam go a size smaller.

As I mentioned in my last post I am obsessing over bandanas! I picked up this red embellished one from Express and layered it over a dainty gold necklace from Urban Outfitters. Add the leather jacket and I’m channeling Danny from Grease (minus the cigarettes and hair gel of course).

For the finishing touch, I went with a bright red matte lip. Red lips take me back to my cheerleading days, and I seriously wish matte lipstick existed then- would have saved a lot of stained uniforms and random kiss marks.

I’m heading to Indianapolis tomorrow with friends to visit one of my college roommates! It’s been so long since we have all been together and I am so excited!!
