Hey guys! One of the questions I get asked most from you all is,

“how often do you wash your curls?

The answer is, not a lot. Because of my curly hair texture, I usually wash my hair every 4-6 days, so keeping it maintained between washes is so important!

When my roots start to get oily and my curls lose definition & shine, my go-to product to refresh my hair is Waterl<ss Dry Shampoo Foam and Dry Conditioner Instant Moisture! These products allow me to easily extend the life of my style between washes. Plus, they are safe for curly hair! No parabens or drying alcohols.

If you have curly or wavy hair, you know how frustrating day 2 (and day 3 & 4) hair can be. Curls lose definition overnight, frizz sets in and your hair starts looking dull from product build up. Now, I’ve used plenty of dry shampoo in my life, but dry conditioner was a completely new concept to me. Before finding Waterl<ss Dry Conditioner I was using 2-3 products to refresh my next day curls. Now I just use one – this product is really a game changer for my morning routine!! They’re available at Sally Beauty, so you can try them out for yourself.

The Waterl<ss Dry Conditioner Instant Moisture tames flyaways and frizz, redefines, and helps detangle my hair. Oh and the smell is heavenly! Using alongside the Dry Shampoo Foam, which removes product build up, my hair looks as good as it does on wash day!

How to use Waterl<ss Dry Shampoo Foam & Dry Conditioner:

  1. On dry hair, apply a walnut-sized dollop of shampoo foam into your hands and rub them together.
  2. Focusing on your part, massage product into your scalp until it completely dissolves. The foam will dry instantly and start absorbing oils from your hair. (Plus, there is no residue left behind!)
  3. Apply Dry Conditioner Instant Moisture and gently spray through your hair starting at mid-length.
  4. Use your fingers to detangle any knots and smooth over frizz.
  5. Touch up with Dry Conditioner throughout the day as needed!

After

Another great thing about the dry conditioner and shampoo foam is that there is never residue left behind after use! Having dark hair, this was always an issue with other dry shampoos – I’d be left with a white stripe going down my head.

The products are both extremely light weight and won’t cause your curls to become limp or deflated. I’ve used for 2-3 consecutive days and my hair never looks or feels stiff. You can get these products online or in-stores at Sally Beauty!

Hi! I generally prefer to shower at night so I will keep it up/dry. When I want to refresh my hair (not wash) I will usually just wet it completely, use a leave-in conditioner and then add my styling product (curl creme, gel, etc.). If you shower in the morning you can definitely get it wet and use a conditioner then, but I dont think it would be necessary to do every day! Hope that helps! x, Melissa
