Corset Belt: Zara (similar) | T-Shirt Dress: Forever 21 | Sandals: BCBG (old, similar & similar) | Sunnies: Ray Ban
Corset belts are a major trend this year and the perfect accessory to add detail to a button up shirt or define your waist in an oversize jacket or simple shift dress.
The temperatures have consistently been above 65 degrees so you know what that means…it’s dress season! I get bored very easily, and as much as I complain about the east coast weather, I am thankful for the changing seasons and the wardrobe refresh I get to have every few months.
For this look I selected a very simple t-shirt dress from Forever 21. Straightforward enough. Now the challenge…choosing a corset belt that you like! The options are unlimited. What color? Lace up or buckle? Narrow or wide? Leather or fabric? (or one of each 😉 amirite?)
I wanted a belt that I could pair with anything in my closet so I decided on this black, medium width belt with metallic ring details from Zara. A pair of studded black sandals and round frame sunnies and the look is complete!

Also, rocking the perfect second day blow out thanks to Valerie at Caravan Stylist Studio in NYC! She introduced me to some great new products that actually work with my hair type.
I’ve always considered myself to have thick hair, because of my curls and the amount of time it takes me to dry it, but I learned that I actually have fine strand (and a lot of them!).
So Valerie hooked me up with new OGX Anti-Gravity + Hydration O2 Shampoo and Conditioner specifically made for fine hair. I’ve been using both for the last few weeks and I am loving how much moisture and volume I can feel in my hair (even after a full blow out)! Available for under $10 at Target.
Hope you guys have a great rest of your week!
