I’ve never really gravitated towards yellow clothing, but lately my eye has been drawn to the color. And this wrap dress from LuLu’s is simply the perfect shade! Not quite a mustard and far from pastel. Marigold compliments an end of summer tan and darker accessories as we start to transition into fall.
I originally pictured wearing it with rose-gold sunnies and light accessories, but after getting it home I wanted more of a dark contrast to this eye catching dress. Instead I paired with my favorite black and gold round glasses and my new Charlotte shoulder bag from Closet Access.

This dress runs a little larger than I was hoping. I’m wearing an XS and I had to tie it super tight for it to sit at my waist. I am also wearing 5″ platform heels (I’m 5’5″ for reference) and the hem is still gracing the ground. I didn’t realize until I put this on that I don’t really wear (or own) super high heels anymore. Anyone else?
It has been sooo humid in Jersey and my curls are doing whatever they want (and I’m kind of liking loving it). Curly haired girls, you know what I’m talking about…. Curls are a love hate relationship. Some days I love em, other days I’m about 5 minutes away from Britney Spears in 2007.

Last semester Jordan and I went about 4 months without seeing each other and decided we would never do it again. Four months was way too long apart. So, this fall I’m making two trips down to visit! Excited to share my now 4th (!!) trip with you guys 🙂
