New Looks, New Views

Grenada Magazine Beach

This day was quite a day of firsts for me! Grenada is such a tiny island, and with this being my third trip, I thought I had done it all (silly me). Jordan and I spent the day at Magazine Beach a little further down the coast from Grand Anse.

Backing up to lush greenery instead of hotels this beach is even more private than Grand Anse. Dozens of palm trees offer the perfect shade from the hot sun and, of course, the water is aquamarine blue and utterly perfect. Plus, the Aquarium Restaurant & Bar (emphasis on bar) is right on the beach.

Speaking of firsts, we brought out the drone for the first time ever!!! Flying it over the ocean for its first flight totally sounds like a good idea right…

Let me preface this with saying, I grew up as an only child with no male siblings, well any siblings, and I use that as my excuse for being terrible at using anything with a joystick (video games, anything remote controlled, etc.). So when Jordan got me a drone for Christmas I was confident I would never get it off the ground, nonetheless actually be able to control it once it was. Well, the proof is below! This drone is so freakin easy to use I could teach my grandma to do it (she’s a brilliant lady, but you get my point)!

This is my first video ever! Hope you guys enjoy 🙂

Anyway there’s my technology blurb of the month! Let’s get to the regularly scheduled content-

Channeling my inner Baywatch babe with this super high cut, color block one-piece.

I love the idea of one-piece swimsuits because they come in so many unique styles, but I find myself avoiding them because of tan lines that often come with those cool styles. In a perfect world, I would be on the beach at least once a month and wouldn’t care, but in the world I’m living in that is unfortunately not the case. So I feel the need to optimize my tanning time when I get a chance.

This one-piece solved that issue with all of the cut outs in the right places! Tan tummy, check.  No harsh tan lines, check!  It fits a tad big on top, for issues I have already discussed here, but stayed on well while I was swimming. The deep berry color pops so nicely off of the hot pink and pairing with a western style statement necklace really brought it all together.

I’m sure some of you lucky ones have spring break coming up so I added my suit, some similar styles, and other one-piece swimsuits I am just obsessing over below!

……….

I realized after writing this post that I always come back with new travel tips and places to go in Grenada. So…I’m going to put together a full guide to visiting Grenada! What do you think?

Have a fab Sunday guys and enjoy your extra hour of sunlight this week!
