Happy October! It may be a little late, but I love this polka-dot pinafore dress too much not to share.
Now that I’ve started working my shopping brain is always thinking multipurpose (I’m a lady on a budget after-all). Love it, can I wear it to work? Is this appropriate for the office? and so on. Luckily, working in the fashion industry, I have a bit more freedom when it comes to getting dressed in the morning. But at the end of the day (I guess really the beginning of the day) I still have to dress office appropriate.
I’ve been so into the tanks over tees trend that seems to be coming back in volumes (hint hint to my next look) and this dress was made to be layered! Polka-dots with a collared eyelet top add a level of sophistication to a playful print. Plus it’s 100% office approved. I’m thinking a nice long sleeve button up with black tights and boots will make a great transition into the colder weather.
